Kenny Omega responds to critical fan about winning AEW World Title

As expected, Kenny Omega has received positive and negative comments from fans following his biggest win in AEW thus far.

Omega won the AEW World Heavyweight Title from Jon Moxley in the main event of Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite. He did so with the help of Impact Wrestling executive Don Callis.

A fan brought up Omega winning the world title while also being one of the Executive Vice Presidents of All Elite Wrestling and how if Triple H was in the same spot in WWE while also winning the WWE Title then fans would go crazy about it.

Omega responded with, “You’ve got it all wrong. I’m just a lowly Executive Best Wrestler of all time. That’s kinda why I win everything everywhere. That’s how life works.”

The fan fired back by doubling down on his take and received this shot back from Omega:

“The only power I have is to make you cry,” wrote the new AEW World Champion.”

Omega will appear on next week’s episode of Impact Wrestling in order to explain his actions.
