Update: Post Wrestling reports that Hall and MLW will not be working together as the two sides have mutually agreed to part ways. He was under contract, but plans for him to work for the promotion have been dropped. It was said that there was no animosity on MLW’s end towards Hall.

Original: Cody Hall has found a new home and it’s in Major League Wrestling.

The son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall is under contract with the promotion, according to PWrestling.com Per the report, he actually signed with the company back in early October.

It was noted that there is an idea to put Hall into the CONTRA Unit. Currently, the group consists of Ikuro Kwon, Jacob Fatu, Josef Samael, Simon Gotch, and Mads Krugger.

During the latest episode of MLW Fusion, Kruger was added to the group. There’s also been talk that they could pair Hall up with Brian Pillman Jr. to set up a feud with Von Erichs or Injustice.

Hall broke into the business after training to be a wrestler in 2010 and had a run in NJWP  from 2015 – 2017. During this time, he was a member of the Bullet Club as well as served as an enforcer for The Young Bucks.

He later departed from NJPW in order to work for Pro Wrestling NOAH and DDT Pro-Wrestling.
