Booker T comments on his tense interaction with Carmella on WWE Talking Smack
During last Friday’s episode of Talking Smack on Fox Sports 1, there appeared to be a little bit of friction between Booker T and Carmella when he talked about Sasha Banks making more history than her in WWE.
Booker T said he put her on the spot to see how she would react. He said, “I was just seeing if I could pull something out of her. It’s my job to put every guest that comes on Talking Smack on the spot. They are working without a net when they step on Talking Smack and I’m out there because they don’t know where I’m coming from. They don’t know exactly what I am going to say or when I’m going to say it or how I’m going to say it. Preparation is the only luck you are ever going to have. She came back at me after she composed herself. She had to compose herself and then she had to find out what ride I’m going to take and then ok, let’s put the pedal to the metal. Like I told her, I appreciate that. That was a good comeback. A lot of times you put a lot of the young talent in a position like that, they don’t know what the hell to do. So, I’m going to give Carmella big props. As far as her wrestling IQ, I stand by that as far as her having to bring her game up a little bit. I stand by that. That is something she may not understand but I’m looking from the trained eye. I’m looking from the perspective of someone who’s giving expert tutelage.”
