“Young Rock” series premiere see’s over 5 million viewers in the overnight ratings
The series premiere of “Young Rock” on NBC Tuesday night did 5.034 million viewers in the overnight ratings.
Tuesday’s series premiere came in third place for the night on network TV behind CBS NCIS on CBS with 5.6 million viewers and This Is Us on NBC with 5.5 million viewers.
Young Rock did a 0.4 rating in the 18-34 demographic, 0.9 in 18-49 demographic and a 1.4 rating in 24-34, demographic, behind This Is Us.
Tuesday night’s series premiere featured Dwayne Johnson in the year 2032 as he prepares to run for President of the United States, as he reflects on his his life in the years of 1982, 1987, and 1992 when he was 20 and starting his football career at the University of Miami.
The premiere episode featured actors playing Rocky Johnson, Ata, Andre The Giant, The Wild Samoans, Junkyard Dog and the Iron Shiek in 1982 in Hawaii.
Next week’s episode will focus on 1987.
