WWE is interested in signing top level Impact Wrestling stars

WWE is looking to add some free agents to their roster in 2021.

Dave Meltzer noted in the recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE has made overtures to some top-level Impact talent to find out when their contracts expire.

It was not said who they reached out to but one would think that Ethan Page will be at the top of list of names that they would want. It wouldn’t be a shock if AEW reached out to him as well. Page finishes up with Impact this month. Page recently said that Impact gave their blessing for him to speak with other promotions so legally, he was able to speak with other companies before his current deal expired.

WWE overtures could throw a wrench into whatever is planned for the Impact-AEW crossover. Tony Khan said this week that there was an invitation for Impact wrestlers to show up on AEW Dynamite.
