The Undertaker’s WWE Hall Of Fame induction unlikely to happen in 2021

The WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony is likely to look a lot different this year than in prior years.

Dave Meltzer reported that the current plan for the Hall Of Fame ceremony will probably be virtual and will feature the names that were supposed to be inducted last year. Last year’s induction ceremony was postponed because of the pandemic. At one point, there were plans to do the ceremony during SummerSlam weekend.

The virtual ceremony likely means that The Undertaker won’t be induced until at least 2022 since they would want fans to be there. They would also want a packed stadium when he is introduced at WrestleMania for the HOF segment. During Survivor Series weekend, a company source told PWrestling.com that Vince McMahon wanted to do one more ceremony with Taker with fans in attendance.

The names that were scheduled to be inducted in 2020 are Dave Bautista, Davey Boy Smith, The NWO (Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, & Sean Waltman), Jushin Thunder Liger, John Bradshaw Layfield, and The Bella Twins.
