Tony Khan and Tony Schiavone appeared on Impact Wrestling on AXS TV

As promised, there was a big AEW presence on this week’s episode of Impact Wrestling on AXS TV.

They started the show with a video package recapping Kenny Omega’s AEW World Title win over Jon Moxley on last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite. A large bus was shown and Mathews said that he would be interviewing Omega later in the show.

Later in the show, there was a “paid commercial” featuring Tony Khan and Tony Schiavone to promote tomorrow night’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Khan said that he was not happy about the way Omega won the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley and he could take legal action against Impact but he wanted to allow Omega to appear on the show because it can only help promote AEW. There were some vague shots at Impact when Khan talked about Schiavone having a cup of coffee in TNA many years ago and he said that AEW has the best tag teams in the world.
