Reason why WWE NXT star has been off television

Fans have picked up Dakota Kai being absent from WWE television as of late.

She was last seen by working the NXT TakeOver: WarGames event as Team Candice (Candice LeRae, Kai, Raquel González, and Toni Storm) beat Team Shotzi (Shotzi Blackheart, Ember Moon, Rhea Ripley, and Io Shirai).

Last week, WWE released a video titled ‘Casualties Of War Games,” which featured Kai noting that she wouldn’t be around for a while after the match. This led to fans thinking that she suffered an injury in the contest.

That’s not the case as Fightful Select reports Kai is currently off WWE NXT television because she is dealing with her work visa issues.

The report stated, “She’s not injured, and instead WWE is working to clear up her visa.” It was added that WWE expects to have her back on TV soon. In the meantime, she will continue her work on the UpUpDownDown YouTube channel.
