People in WWE are not happy about Snoop Dogg appearing on AEW Dynamite next month
As noted last night on AEW Dynamite, Snoop Dogg will be the special guest for the January 6th episode.
Snoop has been a friend to WWE and has appeared in guest roles over the years. Snoop is also the cousin of WWE Superstar Sasha Banks, which is why some in the company were surprised to see him advertised for Dynamite. Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that some people in WWE are not happy about this.
Alvarez said. “Regarding Snoop Dogg, I do know there are people in WWE very upset that Snoop is appearing on this show.” Meltzer said, “he doesn’t have a contract with [WWE] and he’s part of the Turner family.”
Alvarez said, “he’s the host of the show that Cody was doing, the game show. So obviously that is the tie in. It’s the same way they got Shaq.”
Go-Big Show with Snoop Dogg and Cody Rhodes will premiere on TBS on January 7 so it makes sense for him to appear on other Turner Network shows to promote the premiere episode.
