Impact Wrestling star not expect to re-sign with the promotion
It’s been previously reported that there have been several wrestlers who have yet to sign new deals with Impact Wrestling.
When the promotion held its most recent TV tapings in Nashville, TN that will last them with enough content through the rest of 2020, it was reported that the promotion dealt with the challenge of having wrestlers on upcoming episodes of TV that won’t work the next set of TV tapings.
Thus, the promotion filmed different finishes for multiple matches. There’s still no word yet on those wrestlers who haven’t signed new deals, but what is known is Ethan Page’s contract is set to expire at the end of the year.
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the current belief is Page isn’t re-signing with the promotion.
Meltzer pointed out how Page has pushed for his new Vlog as possibly his last one from Impact. Per the report, Paige’s friends and Impact are under the belief that he’s finished up with the promotion.
This seems to end The North tag team at least for now as Josh Alexander has a long time left on his deal, which is said to have nine months remaining.
The North was the company’s top heel tag team for more than a year. There’s no word yet on Page’s plans for where he’ll work next whether that’s WWE or AEW.
