Former IMPACT World Champion debuts on NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day Pre-Show
Former IMPACT World Champion Eli Drake (real name Shaun Ricker) made his WWE debut tonight during the NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day Pre-Show.
Drake who debuted as LA Knight, interrupted the panel and cut a promo putting the NXT locker room on notice.
According to PWInsider, Drake was quietly released from the National Wrestling Alliance late last year.
Drake was terminated by IMPACT back on April 7, 2019 due to comments he made about the company during interviews and how IMPACT Management was not happy with him after he refused to work a match with Tessa Blanchard at the United We Stand PPV event during WrestleMania 35 weekend.
