Fans didn’t dislike Tyrus because of politics, it was because he can’t move

Chris Adonis recently took to social media to share some interesting insights.
The former WWE star and Master-Lock creator made a bold statement on his Twitter account, only to delete it later. In his tweet, he criticized the NWA for pushing Tyrus, who had been holding the promotion’s world championship for almost a year before losing it to EC3. While NWA President Billy Corgan attributed Tyrus’s unpopularity to his right-leaning politics or appearances on Fox News, Adonis argued that it was actually due to his lack of mobility.
Hey @nwa, Is it ok to say now that our fans didn’t reject Tyrus due to politics or Fox News. IT WAS CAUSE HE CAN’T MOVE.
After losing to EC3 at NWA 75, Tyrus announced his retirement from professional wrestling. However, he later clarified that he would still have some involvement with the promotion.
It’s worth noting that Adonis himself is a former National Champion for the NWA.
