Comcast earnings report shows WWE has added subscribers for Peacock

According to the Q1 2021 earnings report from Comcast, the company noted that WWE increased the number of new subscriptions for their Peacock streaming service.

Peacock saw 9 million new subscriptions during the first three months of 2021. Peacock now currently has 42 million subscribers in the United States. Comcast did not include how many new subscriptions were for the free tier vs. the paid tier.

The WWE Network launched on Peacock on March 18.  They expect to have the entire WWE library available for viewing in time for the SummerSlam this coming August.
