Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling announced on Twitter that Yuka Sakazaki will be returning to AEW next month.
TJPW noted the following in their Twitter post:
“Yuka Sakazaki will be on US excursion! She will be in the US from July to appear in #AEW.”
Sakazaki made prior appearances for AEW. She competed at the 2019 Double or Nothing PPV, where she teamed with Emi Sakura and Aja Kong against Hikaru Shida, Riho and Ryo Mizunami. Her second appearance was in February 2020 prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, when she competed in the AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Tournament. She made it to the finals of the tournament, but was eliminated with a loss to Mizunami.
