AEW Dynamite dips in viewership for late night edition, ranks number 5 on cable with key demo 12/23)
The live viewership numbers for both AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT are in.
AEW and NXT did decline in total viewers. It was AEW that took the win this week in total viewership and won the key demo despite not in its normal timeslot. It should be noted that both shows stayed the same as last week in the 18-49 demographic.
Dynamite drew 775,000 live viewers and NXT drew 698,000 live viewers. Last week, AEW drew 806,000 while NXT drew 766,000.
Dynamite had to air at 10 pm EST due to TNT’s coverage of an NBA game between the Celtics and Bucks. Thus, aside from NBA competition, NXT didn’t have to deal with competition from AEW.
AEW ranked #5 in the top 150 shows on cable while NXT was #40. As is the case in most weeks, AEW won the 18-49 demographic.
