According to a new report from F4WOnline, AEW World Champion Kenny Omega is feeling better following stem cell treatment and and PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy.
It is also being said Omega noted that the treatment “wasn’t night and day, but it made a world of difference.”
Along with the seven stitches Omega received following a belt shot to PAC at the Double or Nothing PPV, he has been dealing with a hernia, a deep tailbone bruise, normal wear and tear on his knees, and a stomach flu.
It was said in the same report Omega is in a lot of pain when getting through the recent big matches. At fan fest the day before Double or Nothing, Omega said he there are days he wakes up and walks around where he thinks maybe he is close to retirement, but that having real fans in the arenas when he is performing makes him feel a lot better.
Omega successfully defended the AEW Championship against Jungle Boy on the Dynamite Saturday special back on June 26. Omega is scheduled to defend the IMPACT World Title against Sami Callihan at the Slammiversary PPV on Saturday, July 17.
