WWE Survivor Series Results: Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre

The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the WWE Survivor Series event:

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns

They brawled in the early going. Reigns dominated the early portion of this match until McIntyre rallied back with strikes and tosses. McIntyre went for a DDT, but Reigns blocked it and hit a samoan drop for 2. McIntyre hit a spine buster for 2. They brawled around ringside. Reigns regained control back in the ring until Reigns started talking trash.

They exchanged big boots then McIntyre avoided the superman punch and McIntyre hit the Future Shock DDT for 2. McIntyre went for the Claymore Kick, but Reigns hit the Superman Punch instead. Reigns went for a guillotine, but McIntyre hit a belly-to-belly suplex. Reigns with a big boot then sent him shoulder first into the ring post. McIntyre blocked the spear and locked in the kimura. Reigns hit a samoan drop to McIntyre onto the announce table, but it didn’t break. Reigns did it again and the table broke.

Reigns speared McIntyre through the barricade and got a near fall when pinning McIntyre in the ring. Reigns hit a spear in the ring for 2. Reigns went for another spear, but McIntyre connected with the Claymore Kick that sent Reigns into the referee. Jey Uso ran down to the ring. Reigns hit a low blow to McIntyre, who was then super kicked by Uso and Reigns hit another spear before locking in the guillotine choke. A second referee is in the ring and McIntyre passes out.
