WWE SummerSlam to take place in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium
WWE has announced this year’s SummerSlam, which is on Saturday, August 21, will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Allegiant Stadium, home of the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders and UNLV Rebels Football, is a domed stadium that can hold up to 72,000 fans for football.
According to PWInsider, WWE is well aware that the same evening, from Las Vegas, Manny Pacquiao is fighting Errol Spence Jr. on pay-per-view. It is being said that WWE’s plan is to conclude Summerslam with enough time for fans to be able to attend the Pacquiao fight in the same city if they choose, or to be able to watch Pacquiao’s fight on pay-per-view after SummerSlam concludes.
