WWE sets pre-registration record for United Kingdom event this September
According to Alex McCarthy at talkSPORT, more than 59,000 people pre-registered for tickets in the first 24 hours for WWE’s first stadium event that will be held in the United Kingdom in 30 years.
The event will be taking place on Saturday, September 3 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff Wales. This will be the first major pay-per-view event WWE will hold in the United Kingdom since SummerSlam 1992.
It was also noted that the pre-registration for pre-sale tickets than any event in history that includes WrestleMania.
WWE’s event in the United Kingdom will take place the same weekend as the AEW’s All Out pay-per-view that is currently scheduled for Sunday, September 4.
