WWE says Lana is injured, will not wrestle at TLC pay-per-view

WWE announced that Lana suffered injuries to her elbow and leg and she will not be able to wrestle this Sunday at the TLC pay-per-view.

Lana was supposed to team with Asuka and they were supposed to challenge Nia Jax and Asuka for the Women’s Tag Team Championship but Tom Phillips said that Asuka will need to find a new partner.

During this week’s episode of WWE Raw, Lana got a clean win over Jax in a quick match but she was attacked by Jax and Baszler. There were no signs that this was a legitimate injury so this is likely just part of the storyline to put more heat on the heels.

Later on Raw, Dana Brooke was attacked by Baszler and Jax but Mandy Rose returned with a kendo stick attack. The tables were turned on Rose but Asuka ran in for the save and she and Rose teamed up to take out Jax and Baszler.
