WWE President Nick Khan wants to collaborate with other wrestling companies

A big news story is making the rounds following WWE WrestleMania XL.
According to Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barasso, WWE President Nick Khan is showing interest in collaborating with other wrestling companies. Khan recently approved TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace to participate in the 2024 Royal Rumble match. It seems Khan has a strong relationship with Josh Barnett and even attended Barnett’s GCW Bloodsport event during Mania week.
While specific promotions were not mentioned, the possibility of the Forbidden Door being open to all is exciting. However, it is speculated that AEW may not be at the top of the list. Earlier this year, NXT’s Charlie Dempsey made an appearance at an AJPW event, and there are rumors that Rossy Ogawa, formerly of STARDOM, will be collaborating with WWE on a new women’s promotion.
Barasso got this scoop during an interview with former ESPN president and Meadlowlark Media co-founder John Skipper. This marks a new era in WWE as Vince McMahon traditionally avoided working with competitors, except on rare occasions.
