WWE is in the process of building a physical Hall of Fame location

Ric Flair made an appearance on ESPN’s The Jump to talk about his golden robe being the inspiration for Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard’s latest Adidas signature shoe, Dame7.

During it, the pro wrestling legend revealed that WWE is in the process of building a physical location for its Hall of Fame.

“They did. I’ve worn like 36-38 robes. I can’t remember the exact number. That was one of my favorite robes. WWE is actually in the process of building a Hall of Fame, a physical Hall of Fame structure in Orlando. It’s been delayed too due to COVID and that. They brought the robe and wanted to put that in there as it was something that I wore.”

This has been talked about for years. After bringing back the Hall of Fame in 2004, some don’t consider the WWE Hall of Fame as legitimate as the company sells tickets to fans in order for them to attend the ceremony and they broadcast it live on their streaming service, WWE Network. Also, unlike other sports leagues, WWE doesn’t have a physical location.

Although there has been no recent reports about WWE doing this, Flair is in the know with WWE so it’s very likely this is happening.
