WWE discussing hosting Royal Rumble in Milwaukee

Milwaukee is in the running to host the WWE Royal Rumble event, reports CBS 58. State leaders have been in talks with WWE to bring the spectacle to American Family Field once it has been winterized. The winterization process is set to take place after the 2025 baseball season, which means the Royal Rumble could potentially come to Milwaukee as early as 2026.

During WrestleMania in Philadelphia, city and state officials met with WWE representatives to express Milwaukee’s desire to host the event. Peggy Williams-Smith, President of VISIT Milwaukee, said, “We are excited about the possibility of bringing WWE’s Royal Rumble to Milwaukee in the future, and WWE is aware of our interest.”
