WWE announced on Monday afternoon that WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently in quarantine.

The company had previously announced Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton for tonight on Raw.

In addition, McIntyre was set to defend his WWE Championship against Goldberg at the Royal Rumble later this month. There is no word yet on if that match will happen as scheduled.

This is the first time the company has publicly announced anyone on the roster as having been diagnosed with COVID-19. The company would not disclose any information on previous outbreaks.
