Havok and Nevaeh def. Tenille Dashwood and Madison Rayne

Madison Rayne has all-time great theme music and it was great to hear it again in the IMPACT Zone.

Josh Mathews did a good job calling this one down the middle, but to be fair, his real-life marriage to Madison Rayne is never acknowledged on television.

Madison Rayne’s comeback tour was surprisingly derailed with this first-round loss and it sounds like it may lead to a future match against Tenille Dashwood, who barely worked this match.

Rohit Raju def. TJP—IMPACT X-Division Championship

Madison Rayne was right back on commentary for this match moments after taking a beating and losing to a monster tag team.

If Rohit Raju were a Street Fighter character, he’d be Dhalsim, not because of his ethnicity, but because of his pesky offense and how he seems to be able to strike from any distance.

The second the X-Division Championship was introduced into this match, the odds swung significantly in Rohit Raju’s favor. TJP can now never challenge for the IMPACT Championship as long as Rohit Raju is champion, which based on his nose for a cheap win, could be forever.

Chris Sabin def. Acey Romero

Acey Romero brought fellow super heavyweight Larry D to a match against a 200-lb. Chris Sabin, which was such a heel move.

As long as Chris Sabin is a singles wrestler, IMPACT needs to talk up the man as a former IMPACT world champion rather than a punchy underdog.

Eddie Edwards def. Chris Bey

Former IMPACT world champion Eddie Edwards feels like he’s one loss away from competing in the X-Division permanently.

Chris Bey took an ungodly amount of chops from Eddie Edwards in this one.

I was shocked to see Edwards win this one with a rollup.

I smell a future Eddie Edwards heel turn on Rich Swann.

Reno Scum def. Fallah Bahh & Crazy Steve

Fallah Bah’s comeback was not at the quick pace of a usual hot tag, but seeing him rag doll two grown men was entertaining.

Reno Scum vs. The North is going to be so much fun.

Karl Anderson def. Josh Alexander by Disqualification

You’d never know either of these wrestlers were tag team guys based on the amount of time they got in a technically sound main event.

This match ended in such a serious brawl featuring The Good Brothers, which was jarring with so many commercial spots for Talk ‘N Shop A Mania 2.
