What’s Going on with Sammy Guevara at AEW?

Sammy Guevara, a star who has been missing from AEW for some time, was suspended a couple of months ago for not following concussion protocol during a match against Jeff Hardy on Rampage. Hardy was visibly affected after Guevara accidentally landed on his head during a shooting star splash. Despite the referee signaling for the match to end, Guevara delivered his GTH finisher to Hardy before being sidelined.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Guevara is still out of action due to this suspension. The former three-time TNT Champion has faced several challenges during his time in AEW, including injuries, backstage incidents, and now a suspension. In addition, Guevara and his wife, fellow AEW star Tay Melo, welcomed a child together last year.
