Vince McMahon comments on the passing of Brodie Lee (Luke Harper)
Vince McMahon has taken to Twitter to join many who have paid tribute to the late Jon Huber, who went by the name of Brodie lee in AEW and Luke Harper in WWE.
The beloved pro wrestler passed away at the age of 41 as a result of a non-COVID-related lung issue.
WWE previously released a statement on the passing of the former Intercontinental Champion. The WWE Chairman and CEO has added his own comments by noting the entire WWE family is “saddened” by the loss. He wrote the following:
“The entire WWE family is deeply saddened by the passing of Jon Huber, known to the WWE Universe as Luke Harper. Our thoughts are with Jon’s family, friends, and fans.”

AEW has retweeted the post from McMahon. When Lee first made his AEW debut after getting out of his deal with WWE, he did parody segments that drew comparisons between his character and McMahon. It was for fun.
Lee spoke about this during an interview in October.
