“Vacation Friends” starring John Cena to premiere on Hulu August 27
John Cena announced earlier today that the comedy movie “Vacation Friends” will premiere on Friday, August 27 on Hulu. The Film will also be available to stream on the Star content hub of Disney Plus in select international markets.
The movie also stars Yvonne Orji, Meredith Hagner, Lil Rel Howery, Lynn Whitfield, Robert Wisdom and Tawny Newsome.
Clay Tarver directed the film, the executive producer of HBO’s “Silicon Valley” with the screenplay written by Tom Mullen and Tim Mullen.
Production for the film began in March 2020 but was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Production resumed in September 2020 and finished up in October of 2020.
The synopsis for the film is below:
“Vacation Friends will follow the story of a straight-laced couple that has fun with a rowdy couple on vacation in Mexico. When they return to the States, they discover that the crazy couple they met in Mexico followed them back home.”
