There has been a lot of buzz surrounding the recent NWA Samhain pay-per-view event.

During the show, veteran pro wrestling manager James Mitchell found himself at the center of a controversial segment that quickly went viral on social media.

Mitchell was depicted in a private seating area near the ring, surrounded by scantily clad women who were drinking alcohol and engaging in questionable activities. Reports indicate that he was openly snorting cocaine and even passing it around to others in attendance.

Surprisingly, this controversial segment was actually the brainchild of NWA owner Billy Corgan. Unfortunately, it seems that this creative decision may have backfired, as it is now impacting the promotion’s television deal with The CW.

Initially, during negotiations, The CW had made it clear that they were only concerned with the content that would be broadcast on their platforms, rather than what happened at NWA pay-per-view events.

However, everything changed after NWA Samhain.

Following the backlash from viewers and fans regarding the cocaine incident at the NWA Samhain pay-per-view, there has been a significant shift in plans for the partnership with The CW. According to Haus Of Wrestling, there is now a 90-percent possibility that the NWA reality show and NWA Powerrr will be featured on The CW app instead of the actual television channel.
