Toni Storm is reportedly no longer on the WWE roster –
Toni Storm is no longer with the WWE, according to multiple reports.
First reported by Fightful, it is unclear as of this posting whether the decision was WWE’s or Toni Storm’s. Early reports indicate that it is not due to budgetary reasons, as previous releases over the months have had cited.
In recent months, Toni Storm had been brought up to the SmackDown women’s roster and had been feuding with SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.
Storm most recently wrestled for the company this past Tuesday night at a WWE Live Event in Washington, D.C., participating in a triple threat match against Flair and Sasha Banks. That same match is scheduled for Wednesday’s live event in Baltimore, Maryland, but that match will be changed.
Storm signed with WWE in 2017, participating in the Mae Young Classic. She spent the better parts of her WWE career on NXT UK and NXT. She was called up to the main roster this past July but did not work much until being inserted into the previously mentioned feud with Flair.
We will continue to follow this story as more becomes available.
