Tick Tock: Finn Balor’s days as WWE NXT Champion may be numbered
NXT Champion Finn Balor kicked off this week’s episode of NXT on the USA Network.
Balor started by saying that team sports are done and he’s not interested in captains and bragging rights. He declared that the champ is back.
He said that some people love him and others hate him but anyone that wants to know him can see him in the ring. Immediately after, Pete Dunne walked out to the ring. Dunne said that it’s only a matter of time before he takes the title from Balor.
Kyle O’Reilly walked out to the ring and he put over Dunne as a tough guy but added that The Undisputed Era stood tall at TakeOver: WarGames.
The next person to walk out to the ring was Damian Priest and he says he’s been looking forward to facing the champion for a while.
Balor walked out and said that he will defend the title at New Year’s Evil and his opponent will be up to William Regal. At this point, Karrion Kross’ music played and Scarlett walked out. Balor basically said that he was ready to defend his title against Kross.
