The Miz suffers ACL tear at WrestleMania Backlash, will be out nine months
According to a new report from F4WOnline, The Miz suffered a left ACL tear at Sunday’s WrestleMania Backlash PPV during his Lumberjack Match with Damien Priest.
It is not known as of this report how severe the tear is. However, it is believed the injury will keep The Miz out of action for up to nine months.
The report indicates the tear took place When Priest landed on The Miz’s legs after a spinning kick off the top rope. The Miz was still able to work the remainder of the match, but sold his knee repeatedly. After his loss to Priest, he then “eaten” by actors playing zombies as a cross-promotion for the new Netflix movie “Army of the Dead” starring former WWE Superstar Dave Bautista.
During last night’s Raw, John Morrison dedicated his match to The Miz’s memory and lost to Priest in another Lumberjack Match.
