The backstage heat between Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss appears to be over

WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks did an interview with Stephanie Chase’s YouTube channel ahead of Sunday’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view.

Banks talked about The Mandalorian, her feud with Bayley and their match at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view and what her plans are for the future. At one point, Banks was asked who she would pick to team with now that she is no longer teaming with Bayley. Banks said, “I would have to choose Alexa Bliss. She is so cute.”

The positive comment about Bliss seemingly indicates that there is no more heat between them.

“I have people I don’t like,” Banks told Peter Rosenberg in 2018. She added, “think I’m really good at what I do.” During that same interview, she said “not really” when she was asked if she wanted to work more with Bliss.

The rumor is that their heat started back in 2014 when they were in NXT in a match that ended up Bliss suffering a broken nose. Fans noticed that they were stiff with each other in a 2015 match and again in 2017 when they were involved in a brawl on an episode of SmackDown.

During the interview below, Banks was also asked if she would want to face Bayley at WrestleMania. She said, “To me, I just want to have just the most fun time that I can in WWE. Whether that’s Bayley at WrestleMania, whether that’s Liv Morgan, whether that’s Ruby Riott, it could be anybody but of course, to main event WrestleMania is still one of my biggest dreams and to do that with Bayley would be an ultimate dream come true but whatever WWE wants to put in front of me I am going to overcome and just climb that mountain to be the very best.”
