Following her unexpected appearance at WrestleMania XL, there has been much speculation about why she appeared on the show. According to a report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Stephanie has not rejoined WWE as an employee, executive, or on-air performer.

Her appearance at WrestleMania XL was seen as a way to give fans an unexpected surprise. Some within WWE believe that Stephanie was showing support for the company’s new direction under her husband’s leadership and giving her stamp of approval on their future endeavors.
