Shaquille O’Neal will appear on AEW Dynamite this Wednesday night

All Elite Wrestling has just announced that Shaquille O’Neal will speak with Tony Schiavone this Wednesday night on AEW Dynamite.

Shaq’s name was brought up several weeks ago during a segment with Cody Rhodes when Jade Cargill teased that Shaq was on his way.

A few months ago, Shaq said that he would love to step into the ring with Rhodes. Shaq was in talks to fight The Big Show in WWE a few years ago but both sides were not able to come to terms on a deal. It looks like Shaq may step into the ring for AEW.

While some fans may not be on board with Shaq being involved with AEW, this angle will bring some mainstream attention to the promotion at a time when they are trying some out of the box ideas to expand their audience.

Last week, Sting generated some buzz for the company when he debuted on Dynamite and the wrestling world was talking when Kenny Omega left the building with Impact Wrestling’s Don Callis after winning the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley.

– Sting will speak about his AEW debut
– Shaquille O’Neal will address AEW
– Orange Cassidy vs. MJF for the Dynamite Diamond Ring.
– Chris Jericho wants the Inner Circle to get on the same page. Jericho says they have until next week to get on the same page or the group will break up.
– FTR will face the Varsity Blondes (Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr)
– Lance Archer and the Lucha Bros. vs. Eddie Kingston, The Butcher, and The Blade
– Abadon in action
– Dustin Rhodes vs. Preston “10″ Vance
