Potential spoiler on Asuka’s mystery partner at TLC pay-per-view, Lana not expected back on WWE Raw for several weeks
Coming out of last night’s episode of WWE Night Raw, there was some speculation that Lana’s injury was just part of the storyline and she would return to help Asuka win the Women’s Tag Team Titles on Sunday’s TLC pay-per-view.
It looks like that is not the plan, which is baffling since WWE has been building Lana up for weeks with the expectation that she will put Nia Jax through a table.
PWInsider reported today that Lana is expected to be off WWE TV for several weeks, possibly as long as 3-4 weeks. She was written off TV last night on Raw after she got a pin on Jax. After the match, Jax and Shayna Baszler attacked Lana. WWE posted footage on their digital platforms showing Lana being stretchered out of the building.
In regards to Lana’s replacement on Sunday, a photo posted by Charlotte Flair on Twitter has fueled speculation that she will be the one to step in to team with Asuka on Sunday night.
