Post-Survivor Series WWE SmackDown Overnight Ratings
Friday’s SmackDown drew an average of 1.987 million viewers in the overnight ratings, according to Showbuzz Daily. Hour one drew 2.016 million viewers, then hour two went down to 1.957 million viewers.
SmackDown also drew an average of 0.55 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which was #3 for the night. How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Minions Holiday Special tied for the top spot with a 0.7 in the same demo.
If the number holds up, it would be down 14.6% in viewership from last Friday’s SmackDown, which drew an average of 2.326 million viewers with a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic. The big drop is likely attributed to the Thanksgiving holiday weekend in the U.S.
SmackDown was #10 for the night among the networks in viewership. It came in behind: Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town, 20/20, Frosty the Snowman, Frosty Returns, CBS News Sunday Morning, Blue Bloods, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Minions Holiday Special, and Dateline NBC. How the Grinch Stole Christmas topped the night with 3.736 million viewers.
Final ratings will be out on Tuesday afternoon.
