NXT this week: No DQ added to Kross vs. Escobar, Adam Cole to explain his actions
NXT general manager William Regal announced today on Twitter that the match between Karrion Kross and Santos Escobar on this Wednesday’s episode of WWE NXT will be a No Disqualification Match.
Escobar’s NXT Cruiserweight Championship is not on the line. However, if he does not show up for the match, he will be stripped of the title and suspended indefinitely.
Adam Cole took to Twitter and said he will explain on Wednesday’s episode why he turned against his Undisputed Era stablemate Kyle O’Reilly at last Sunday’s WWE NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day event that aired live on the WWE Network.
In consideration of the difference in each competitors “interest” in their match I’ve decided to raise the stakes. @WWEKarrionKross vs @EscobarWWE will now be a #NoDQMatch & if our Cruiserweight Champion does not participate, he will be stripped of his title & suspended. #WWENXT

This Wednesday on NXT…I explain everything. And it’s a lot more than just “why”…
