Matt Hardy signs a contract extension with AEW, matches length of Jeff’s deal

Matt Hardy announced on his HouseHardy Twitch stream on Thursday that he has signed a contract extension with AEW.  Matt also said that his new deal match his brother Jeff’s contract length of time.

“I’m very happy too. I’ve extended my contract with AEW…I’m going to be there a little while longer, and they matched myself and Jeff’s contracts up, which is very cool.”

Matt did not reveal the length of the contract extension. He also notes that both his contract and Jeff’s allow the two of them to make outside appearances, as a Hardy Boyz reunion tour is in the works on the independent scene.

Jeff made his AEW debut on Wednesday night’s Dynamite, saving Matt from the brutal attack by of Andrade El Idolo, Jose the assistant, and Private Party.
