Mark Carrano gone from WWE as part of recent talent relations shakeup
After recently released WWE Superstar Mickie James posted a picture on Twitter showing her personal belongings sent to her in a trash bag, Senior Director Mark Carrano is gone from WWE. This news has been confirmed by F4WOnline and PWInsider.
Also gone from WWE is Director of Talent Relations Nicole Zeoli. Senior Manager of Talent Relations John Cone has been removed from his position, however he is still a referee.
On Thursday, Triple H took to Twitter stating that upon learning of disrespectful treatment of some of the recently released talent, WWE took immediate action and fired the person who was responsible for the inconsiderate action. It is not known if Carrano was that person.
It was noted by F4WOnline that the person involved is said to be someone “major.”
It is not exactly clear whether the firings were related to the trash bag incident with James, or if WWE had received word of other released talent receiving similar treatment.
Stephanie McMahon took to Twitter and to make a public apology to James for the treatment she received.
As of this report, There has been no statements from other released WWE Superstars regarding similar treatment.
John Laurinaitis was recently rehired by WWE as General Manager of Talent Relations with Carrano reporting to him.
