Latest on Snoop Dogg’s AEW Dynamite appearance next month
All Elite Wrestling announced this week that Snoop Dogg will be the special guest for the January 6th episode of Dynamite on TNT.
This comes after AEW brought in Shaq for a segment with Brandi Rhodes on Wednesday’s Dynamite. Many fans wondered what AEW has planned for Snoop on this episode, which currently doesn’t have any matches officially booked just yet.
A fan asked Dave Meltzer on Twitter what Snoop will be doing on this Dynamite show, to which he responded with “commentary.” The rapper received praise for his work as a commentator for Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. fight a few weeks ago.

It should be noted that Snoop, Rosario Dawson, Jennifer Nettles, and Cody Rhodes will be judges on the Go-Big Show that will premiere on TBS on January 7th.
Thus, it makes sense for AEW to bring in Snoop as a way to promote the premiere episode. However, that didn’t stop people in WWE from not being thrilled about the AEW appearance.
