Kyle Fletcher has proven himself as a top singles competitor after his victory on Friday night. The Aussie Open member secured the ROH TV Championship at the ROH Final Battle 2023 pay-per-view in Garland, TX, marking his first singles championship win in his career. In a post-match interview, he expressed his desire to move away from the tag-team wrestler label.

In his own words, “People have seen me win Tag Team Championships all over the world, but this is literally the first singles championship I have won in my entire career. I wanted to win it so people could stop calling me a tag team wrestler.” Fletcher emphasized his skill and potential, stating, “Kyle Fletcher at 24 years old is not just ‘good for 24 years old.’ Kyle Fletcher at 24 years old is one of the best wrestlers in the world.”

He acknowledged the challenges ahead, mentioning, “The hard work begins when I have to make this the most important championship in Ring of Honor, in AEW, in the entire frickin world. Because heavy lies the head.” Fletcher’s determination and ambition were evident as he embraced his new role as the Ring of Honor Television Champion.
