Kevin Owens literally buried by Roman Reigns on WWE Friday Night SmackDown
WWE Friday Night SmackDown opened with a Kevin Owens-Roman Reigns segment and they also closed the show with Owens and Reigns.
As noted earlier, Owens walked out to the ring in the opening segment but Reigns chose to walk out once Owens got to the backstage area. Owens was attacked by Jey Uso and Reigns at ringside and Uso took out Owens twice in backstage segments later in the show.
In the final segment of the show, Reigns walked out to the ring again to address his upcoming match with Owens on Sunday at WWE TLC. Owens limped out to try to fight Reigns but he was speared and hit with chair shots. And with an assist from Reigns, Jey Uso put Owens through a table. Reigns then put Owens through a second table with the Samoan Drop.
Reigns then literally buried Ownes under a bunch of tables and chairs but as Reigns got to the backstage area for an interview, Owens pulled himself out and then said that there’s nothing that Reigns or his family can do to keep him down at TLC and he will die trying on Sunday.
