Kenny Omega taking time off from AEW; AAA Mega Title defense unknown –

According to F4WOnline, Former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega will be taking time off to heal up from several injuries. It was noted that some of the injuries likely will require surgery.

It is being said that Omega will be “done with AEW for a while until everything heals up.” As of right now, there is no target for Omega’s return However, Omega hopes February is possible, although that timeframe might be a bit premature.

It is unknown as of this report if Omega will still be defending the AAA Mega Title against Vikings at Triplemania on December 4.

It was further noted that Omega has been suffering from injuries to his shoulder, knee, an abdominal hernia and possibly more. The idea is to have surgeries to resolve some of these issues and to try and try to fix all the issues at once. However, that has yet to be determined.

Omega appeared on Wednesday’s Dynamite, telling Adam Cole and The Young Bucks he is taking some time off.
