John Cena confirms on The Tonight Show he is returning to WWE

On Wednesday night’s edition of “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon, John Cena confirmed he will be returning to WWE.” Those rumors are true…I’ll definitely be back to the WWE. I just don’t know when.” Cena then went on to say that he has not had his last match, and that he  can’t wait to have his next one.

Fallon and Cena then discussed the upcoming movies that Cena has coming out. “All these opportunities have led to more opportunities…I’ve said before, once you do one of these things, the insurance doesn’t let you go wrestle on the weekends. So we’ll see what happens.”

The main event rumored to be at this year’s SummerSlam PPV is Cena vs. Universal Champion Roman Reigns. The event is taking place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, August 21.

Cena last competed in WWE in a Firefly Fun House match against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at last year’s WrestleMania PPV.

Cena’s appearance on “The Tonight Show” was to promote the release of “F9”, which hits theaters nationwide tomorrow.
