Jeff Hardy says he is “going to AEW”

Jeff Hardy says he is heading to AEW. 

“I’m going to AEW,” Hardy said in an interview with Jared Myers during a meet-and-greet in Louisville, Kentucky back on February 19. 

Post Wrestling says they confirmed with Myers that Hardy did confirm he is indeed going to AEW after his 90-day WWE non-compete clause expires. Hardy was released by WWE back on December 9, 2021 following an incident during a house show in Edinburg, Texas, where he left the ring through the crowd during a tag team match.

Hardy underwent a drug test that came back clean. He was recently said to have been offered a deal by WWE to return, which included a Hall of Fame induction. Hardy turned down the offer.
