Jeff Hardy responds to his own comment about “going to AEW”

Jeff Hardy took to Twitter Thursday to respond to a comments he made during a recent interview with Jared Myers, saying he is “going to AEW.”

During the interview, Jeff said “I’m going to AEW…I’m so excited, until this morning I didn’t really know. I’m so nervous and excited.”

In his Twitter post, Jeff somewhat backtracked on his original statement, saying the following:

“Nothing is official, SocialMedia. It can’t be right now. I’ve simply set a goal for myself & I will achieve it…eventually? The main thing is,’Don’t get excited!’”

Jeff Hardy will is set to become a free agent when his non-compete expires from WWE expires on Wednesday, March 9.
