I’m Really Enjoying My Time There!

AKIRA, a star in MLW, recently shared his thoughts on Fightful’s Overbooked’s ‘Indied’ podcast. In the interview, he talked about his decision to sign with the company and his positive experiences there.

When asked about why he chose to sign with MLW, AKIRA confidently stated, “People said don’t sign with MLW. You know what? I’m gonna do it.” He expressed that he had a great time discussing his goals with the company and has been enjoying his time there ever since.

One thing that AKIRA mentioned was how well-received he has been within the MLW community. He shared, “Even in MLW, I could have pretty good matches. Everyone likes me, everyone says I’m doing great in terms of being a character on screen. I’m working with cameras and everyone, [They tell me] getting better and better and better.”

Despite hearing about the difficult culture in MLW, AKIRA expressed his enjoyment and satisfaction with the progress the company has made. He mentioned, “Even with MLW, I can probably just be like, ‘I don’t want to do that’ and they’ll listen to me. It’s crazy.” He emphasized that he has been able to communicate openly with the company and has been pleased with the opportunities and support he has received.

Additionally, AKIRA shared insights about his relationship with Raven, an ECW legend, and the positive impact Raven has had on his progress in MLW.
