I have no regrets about what I said

Will Ospreay recently addressed his controversial comments about Paul “Triple H” Levesque during a recent AEW Dynamite show. When asked about the situation during the AEW Dynasty 2024 post-show press conference, Ospreay expressed his thoughts on the matter.
In a candid moment, Ospreay stated, “I don’t want to address it anymore. I come from a generation where if you throw a jab, I throw one back. Even though I wasn’t mentioned by name, it was clearly directed at me. So, with all due respect, I’m moving past mentioning anyone from over there. I don’t want to stoop to that level. I have bigger things to focus on, like my recent match with Bryan and the upcoming pay-per-views. I’ve got a lot more to achieve.”
Reflecting on the jab he received, Ospreay shared, “I was definitely annoyed by it. I responded with a jab of my own, but I don’t think it was harmful. It was a joke from years ago. It was the first time I experienced such tribalism between the two sides, and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. I’m choosing to move on from it and focus on promoting AEW. I stand by my words, but I won’t engage in that kind of back-and-forth anymore. It’s unnecessary, and I have better things to do.”
Ospreay’s comments shed light on the tensions between different wrestling organizations and the importance of focusing on personal growth and professional achievements. It’s a reminder that in the world of professional wrestling, staying true to oneself and rising above negativity is key to success.
