Former WWE star reportedly back as a Producer, Said to be at SmackDown

According new a report from PWInsider, former WWE Superstar Shawn Daivari is backstage at tonight’s WWEFriday Night Smackdown and has returned to the company as a Producer.

Daivari worked the most recent NWA TV tapings in the same role. Davari was released by WWE last year as part of buget cuts due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  It is being said that with the company returning to live events next month, there has been a push to add more producers back in order to help with the workload.

Since his departure last year from WWE, Daivari made appearances for IMPACT Wrestling, Major League Wrestling and other other promotions.
